Blanca Ovalle

Blanca Ovalle is Project Supervisor/Coordinator of the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Project, Family Planning Program at LAC & USC Medical Center. Ms. Ovalle coordinates the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Project/Research Study to meet the goals and objectives of its grant. In this position, she is responsible for analyzing and making recommendations for the solution to a variety of problems related to clinic functions.

Ms. Ovalle has performed public speaking to various groups, television, and radio. She worked as a key member of a team to develop and implement an appointment system for approximately 18,000 patient visits per year consisting of family planning and adolescent visits.

Ms. Ovalle holds a Phlebotomy Certification from the University of California, Los Angeles. She also is a Certified Sterilization Counselor, Nursing Assistant, Advanced Health Worker II, and a Training Instructor for Natural Family Planning.

Ms. Ovalle is a volunteer at Urban League Head Start and Estrada Center in Los Angeles.
