Haffner Debra Haffner, executive director of SIECUS (Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States) is one of the nation's leading experts on sexuality and AIDS education. Ms. Haffner has authored articles in a variety of publications, including School Board News, the Journal of Religion and Education, Family Planning Perspectives, Yale Medicine, Journal of School Health, Theory Into Practice, Seminars in Adolescent Medicine, The School Administrator, the Journal of American Medical Association and in newsletters of many national organizations. Ms. Haffner has offered keynote presentations and workshops at the annual meetings of such diverse national organzations as the Society for Scientific Study of Sex, the Society of Public Health Education, the Council of chief Stat School Officers, the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association, the Child Welfare League of America and many others. Ms. Haffner has provided training on sexuality education to more than 13,000 people and spoken to over 30,000 professionals. Ms. Haffner received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Wesleyan University and a Masters in Public Health from Yale School of Medicine. She has been married for fourteen years and is the proud mother of an eleven year old daughter and a three year old son
